Singapore Bus is now Whenbus
Singapore Bus has a new name. If you had Singapore Bus installed, you already have Whenbus: it updated in place, on the same App Store listing. If you are new, get it on the App Store.
Your stop, already open
Whenbus opens on a map of where you are, with every stop in view and the next bus at each one. The stop you are standing at is usually the first card. For a stop elsewhere, search by its name, the five-digit code on the pole, or the road, or search a place and get a way there by bus and MRT.
Tap a stop and you see every bus that calls there, how soon the next ones are, and how full they are: Seats, Standing or Packed.
A countdown on your Lock Screen
Tap Live, pick the buses you care about at that stop, and put your phone away. Whenbus puts one banner on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and the times count down there while the app is closed. When your buses have come and gone, it ends on its own.
Beyond the Lock Screen
Whenbus Pro adds the Bus stop widget, with your stop’s times on the Home Screen, an Apple Watch app, and a Control Center and Action Button control that starts the countdown in one press.
Where the times come from
Arrival times come from LTA DataMall, the Land Transport Authority’s public data, the same source as the display at the stop. Whenbus is not affiliated with LTA, SimplyGo or any bus operator.
No iPhone? Every stop in Singapore has a page on this site with live times, where each bus goes, and the first and last bus. Find your stop.
